Will we remember life, when passing on?
Or does it mark the end of conscious thought
I’ve often pondered friends (now sadly gone)
Through ‘Prayer and Plea’ (such answers have I sought)
Do they perceive existence as lived out?
Awareness of our each and every move
Methinks twud be more occupied (no doubt)
With matters of ‘Belief and Faith’ to prove
Transcending now yon place where poets sing
Celestial in Spirit and in form
Above the clouds (where Angels do their thing)
Where once as was, corporeal and warm
Should inspiration seek to move your quill
In bringing them to mind, provides refill
