THE SEED WE MUST SOW

There are so many wars and disputes

Over things going back to our roots

We fight over small bits of land

That are filled with nothing but sand

Or mountains both barren and bare

With no sign of life anywhere

We kill those who would be our foe

For reasons we don’t even know

We’re “civilised” or so people say

Yet we murder each other each day

The other side say they are right

And “God” will assist in their fight

But our “God” is helping us too

“God” alone knows what is true

Let us pray that the fighting will cease

And all sides can then live in peace

A seed should be planted today

To grow in our minds right away

That mankind will hopefully see

Our wonderful world trouble free
