Another Ganges Captain gone,
Deep In our hearts they all live on

The Ganges spirit that brought us near
As the years pass bye, we can hold it dear

It’s rather special don’t you see
It was inside them, and it’s inside me

Pause for thought, a minute or two
You may even feel, it’s inside you

Our time in the Navy with spirit and nerve
We must have been blessed, under these men to serve

As we hold them safe in our mind
