SPELL CHECKERS

Spell checkers are magic, they really, really work
They seem to know the difference or is it just a quirk

Piece or peace, you know, appear very much the same
But to the spell checker, they are just a simple name

They always gets the spelling right, the context is not clear
Surely they could advise us, with a word in our shell like ear

It could supplement our learning, we who left school at an early age
Enlisting as boys, in the Navy, to earn a simple wage

We read our books when off watch, or in the silent hour
Digest reading, diligently, increasing our word power

New words, printed in bold, and font so small
Surprised, we gained any knowledge, at all

The mark one eyeball, suits this very simple task
So run this over quickly, that is all that I could ask
