Sliding down the hillside
On a tea tray made of tin
Laughing at the others
All making quite a din
But then disaster struck me
I hit a hidden stone
I did a triple somersault
That rattled every bone
So now my mates were laughing
As in a heap I lay
I didn’t see the funny side
Of crashing on a tray
I slowly rose on shaky legs
And saw the twisted tray
Which started sliding down the slope
And quickly flew away
My energy had left me
I ached in every bone
I left the tea tray where it was
And made my way back home
