Verily then; mine heart here broken dies
And teardrops from soft ducts quick fill mine eyes
Yet shafts of bitter pain at true love lost
Pervade the very soul to count the cost.
Where gone those happy hours of childhood love
As glitter moon and stars shone high above
Forgotten now the peaceful hours of dreams
God of thine and mine had different schemes.
In pieces lay your deep undying vows
Revoke you them with shy and curtsy bows
As pollen from yon flower, bee doth take
You leave in deepest chest, straw heart to break.
Go thee now, with mine wish of deepest joy
Forsaking here, thou first and newborn toy.
