I have travelled countries far and wide
Nearly every foreign dish done tried
Until! One pleasant day in Far East land
I saw beauty lying on silver sand
Her skin was tanned: Tresses golden fair
Her lofty countenance was without care
I saw her quite naked on beach of gold
Knowing she would be mine before too old
Walking to her side, I then took her hand
But in that bounteous sun kissed land
She smiled and then slipped fast away
Just made of finest sand with feet of clay.
Like sand through my fingers, the days do fly
Yet I still love her today, and until I die.
