I walk on stage and open my arms
Are there Ladies there who will fall for my charms
Are there words I could say
That would soften their heart
Or make them remember someone so far apart
But I guess when it’s considered
You’ll hear folks say
That’s what happens on Valentine’s Day
Where friends of the present
Or colleagues past
Make their presence felt
‘tho it may not last
For this Annual day remembered so well
By the whole World’s lovers
Who are eager to tell
And on this Day with love to impart
With a dozen Red Roses
To a waiting Heart.
