ROYAL WOOTON BASSET

From desert sands, heat and flies
Hercules decends Brize Norton skies
Carying Family, Loved one or Friends
Heros who met untimely ends

Solemnly repatriated down aircraft ramp
Home now from their desert camp
Bedecked with flowers or single rose
Carried by hears in last repose

Royal British Legion or local beauties
Lining the street their chosen duties
As time has passed, its become our countrys asset
A small proud town ROYAL WOOTON BASSET
