Dapple Shaded Copse

Through Forest glade I wander ‘neath new moon
Its splintered beam hath danced way up ahead
To light a path lest darkness doth consume
Enveloping remembrance left unsaid
Here ‘Nymphs and Dryads’ called amidst refrain
When hearts bereft, alone, no place to go
Revealed, what life provides in mortal frame
Such feeling, as said Myth’s will never know
So whisper gently all one needs to say
Within secluded copse of one’s own mind
True love sustains forever and a day
‘Tis only time that separates the bind
Now dreams reside in place no more forlorn
Where erstwhile Sylvan’s dwelt in shadowed form
