Mind not the thoughts I think
Nor the things my mind has thought
Down deep inside there is a link
Whence such words are brought

Lord Buddha in His wisdom sound
Spake acts of peace come from within
In words both loving and profound
Lest not to seek without, on whim

No not believe, though thou hast heard
No not believe, because of source
Believest thou, in observation pared
Believe in reasoned argument of course

Conducive to good teaching brings
Therein sweet benefits for all
No more thoughts, about no things
Known truth doth hold our minds enthral
