Diverse the lives as lived within our world
Yet common ground we find amidst the prose
Expression of held hopes and dreams unfurled
In declaration, love and friendship grows
As loss befalls one corner of this Earth
We rally to give strength and ease the pain
No nation stands alone, for what it’s worth
In facing fears, ‘tis steadfast we remain
‘Though shadows cast their cloak to block the Sun
A candle burns, whilst down on bended knee
Together we can truly overcome
This day of Prayer for ‘Peace and Harmony’
When ‘Goodness’ chose to come in human form
To light the way through one more darkest dawn
