Bridging the gap between learning and employment through tech‑for‑good
Cloud Crew
Cloud Crew is a community-driven organisation on a mission to bridge the gap between learning and employment. By combining skills-based volunteering with real-world tech projects, they help aspiring professionals gain the experience and confidence they need to launch careers in technology.
Their partnership with FLOW for All is a natural fit — Cloud Crew put their mission into practice by supporting us directly, helping build and maintain the digital platform that our community depends on. Their work is a living example of tech-for-good in action.
Why Cloud Crew supports FLOW
At Cloud Crew we believe that everyone deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or barriers to employment. FLOW for All shares that belief — creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can express themselves, heal, and find community.
Supporting FLOW for All allows us to combine two things we care deeply about: using technology to do good in the world, and standing alongside organisations that champion people who need it most. It is exactly the kind of collaboration that makes our work meaningful.
What they do
Cloud Crew helps jobseekers from all backgrounds transform digital skills — whether from a bootcamp, degree, or self-taught — into hands-on, client-based projects and professional mentoring. Participants gain real experience, build their portfolio, and develop the workplace skills that get noticed by employers.
By bringing together businesses, non-profits, volunteers, and other tech-for-good organisations, Cloud Crew creates clear pathways between learning and employment. Their volunteer Technical Coaches and Mentors come from industry, giving participants genuine professional connections alongside practical experience.
Their impact spans three areas: creating employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work, supporting local businesses and charities with digital adoption, and strengthening communities through purposeful skills-based volunteering.
