Fragile World

Seasons changing getting worse
Could this be the industrial curse
The price we pay for our inventions
Killing the world by good intentions
The more we learn the less we know
As another step forward means something must go
Lost in a mindless search for speed
Instead of conserving the things we need
Building stations in outer space
Whilst around us dies the human race
How close to extinction must we be
Before we all can truly see
We need to start repairs, to mend
Our fragile world, or it will end
