If love could light a candle, how bright would burn it’s flame?

How many sins committed, in just a loved ones name?

Which candle burns the longest,
one broken that cannot mend?..
or that which can’t be broken,
like the dogs love for his friend?

The candle of a child,
for his parents, burns so fierce,
or the flame of a fallen soldier,
burns proud for all our years.

Treat our candles like our loved ones, guide us in darkness, never doubt…. but most of all when daybreaks…. don’t blow that candle out!!
