Oh What a Lovely Web He Weaved!

Though London born (unto mankind conceived)
Genetics passed, connected him to fold
A chip from block which fate alone hath cleaved
His destiny in ‘Hypertext’ foretold
For missing link he did provide the means
Connecting all within divided world
In sharing and updating info’ streams
‘Neutrality’ was shown as facts unfurled
No patent and no royalties his due
As freely did bequeath for good of all
In matching up, ‘twas he supplied the glue
Facilitating path for mouse to crawl
‘Sir TimBL’ as affectionately known
Now branches out from little acorns grown
