As we strolled along the waters edge, waves lapped upon the sand
We espied a glorious sunset as we walked together hand in hand
A myriad of colours were reflected upon the surface of the sea
It was a wondrous sight, a special time, a time for you and me.

Our togetherness in the evening calm, was for me a pure delight
We saw that scene in perfect peace as day gave way to night
As we watched the sun sink slowly down disappearing out of view
I knew that this wouldn’t mean a thing, were I not here with you
