Where has peace gone?
Has peace disappeared and gone underground
Can you tell me why peace can’t be found?
Has peace died on this wretched battle ground?

We can no longer hear her song
She would sing it out loud all over this land
Carried on the wind and through all the trees
Peace and her soothing song used to surround me

We no longer hear her song
For peace will now remain silent
As the fighting becomes more violent
She cries her tears and reaches out to the skies
Can’t you hear her desperate cries of WHY?

Only you can give her a chance
We must all take a stance
And give peace a chance
