Ballakelly was a long dark night in cold hell.
Where beauty met the beast and horror was unleashed,
so horrific my mind can not spell.
it was called the dropping well.
Some will speak and some will never tell.
now days and hours have passed ,
weeks, months to years.
Twenty nine years have gone by we still ask,
why so much pain and for what gain ?
Peole say peace comes at a price of untold pain and sacrifice.
Cheshire soldiers carry the pain of peace
but know our friends have paid the untimate price.
We will remember them.
