Mist,
in from the sea.
Rain,
on the hills and
the mountains.
Death,
in the valleys.
Echoing screams of birds.
Wind rushingthrough the sound.
Ripples,on the waters.
Spray, on their wings.
Talons,
touch and strike.
Flicking, like a salmon’s tail.
The specks fly.
While rainbows arch.
Glistening, like the shedding
of scales.
Then silence,
as they turn for home
