A comparable insignificance (FP)

A breath I have…of my one breath aware…
It is just one among many breaths of air…
Though these are not as many as every
Blade of grass on our planet fair.

A voice I have…of my one voice to please…
It is just one among many voices on the breeze…
Though these are not as many as every
Drop of water in all the seas.

A thought I have…of my one thought I find…
It is just one among many thoughts in mind…
Though these are not as many as every
Miniscule atom kind.

A life I have…of my one life steadfast…
It is just one among many lives now and past…
Though these are not as many as every
Star in the cosmos vast.

An infinite essence of the universe we see…
Dwarfing humankind, as humankind dwarfs me…
I am an infinitesimal, insignificant
Oneness of being…in humility.
