It’s happening again and again
The pain, the bloodshed and sorrow.
When this battle for justice is done
It will happen elsewhere tomorrow.

Words we thought we would never hear again
Pogrom, holocaust and slaughter.
Are featured on the evening news
A mother, a husband a daughter,

Whole families, communities wiped out again
Because their god has a different name.
When will mankind realise,
No matter what we chose to believe
We are all genetically the same.

The world is shedding tears again
We try to stop their cries
Yet for every thousand lives we save
Another thousand dies.
