Fairy Tales

I cry a little puddle trail
To insanity I was driven
I know that my life won’t be a fairy tale
For now the truth has risen

You must know this too
It seems
For you make it just so
You make my life so miserable
Please leave and let go
You tell me why you do these things
So that I’ll stay with you
But just let go of my strings
And I promise I’ll always be true

My strings you pull
You jerk me every where
Okay, you win, you rule
But must you always be so harsh
I’m not a painless fool
I feel the pain you give to me
I’m aware of everything you did
Please, just let me be
I’m still only a kid
