No one told me life was going to change
Failed to mention birth n death they come at some stage
Never given an option to refuse
Say no, go away

Life is a funny thing… why does it change
We develop we grow,
The world matures
Into what we know

With technology our new best friend
And wars breaking out, men fighting to the bitter end
Gang wars arising, children just disappearing

It seems cruel, that when a child is brought into this world
They are hidden from the evils, until they reach ten, eleven or twelve
No longer can we protect the young nor defend the old

Life is a funny thing…. They failed to mention the change
We as human souls can bring…
