Margie Maine lived down the lane,
A funny lass was she,
Goofy teeth, and frizzy hair, what a sight to see.
But Margie had a heart of gold,
especially for the very old.
Her daily visits cheered them up, as they were all alone no job to big or small.
She filled her life with care for others, an example to us all.
Dear Margie Maine from down the lane.
