The night

Do i pierce the night
of an interior death
when all around appears in bloom

So much a Mask
Just for friends
in the silence of my Tomb

But Christ can rise
to roll the Stone
So heavy in my breast

And not snuff out
This smouldering Wick
That needs his promised rest
