An unearthly war
In the name of Christ
Our lord
I wait and seek
The letter of all letters
The one I seek
The one I need
To get me through tomorrow
Another rise of sunset
Another dawn has arrived
But no letter
No reply
When I suddenly realise
Your no longer here
Amongst the living
In the spirited world
You now live
Do you fight your way through?
If you visit them in their rooms
Let them know your here
And though I never received the next letter
I hold the first
I hold it because it is so very dear.
