The Lost and Forgotten

For those of you
Who stand and stare
On cold crisp frost like nights
At stars so far away
You could almost touch

It mark’s a place
Both in Heaven as on earth
Of our brothers we left behind
Forever etched,indelible, on our brain.
Like a living snapshot
